Priorities and Productivity
1) Ok, Here's what you should be doing: Actual, productive, paying work.
2) Here's something you can do while you're not doing actual productive paying work: Some blog posts.
3) What you actually do: Come up with ideas for sockpuppet blogs which you have no intention of maintaining.
Crooked Timbre by Pharrell Henry: An intellectual appreciation of Broken Beat.NollaigO by Naomh MhicLeinn: Irish Anti-Globo opposes commercialisation of Christmas.
And I never even got round to the others:
Sandwichdata: A Libertarian look at lunchtime.OustaPundit: Frequent but coy updates on the perils and pitfalls of Outsourcing.
I had a couple of other sock puppet blogs I found hard to maintain. Chrysanthemum Moonflowers was a blog by a Canadian single mother into pacifism and Buddhism who wrote really bad Bush-hating poetry. It was incredibly easy to write. We Know Where You Live was going to be the blog of a fanatical Lord of the Rings fan who trawled the Net for anybody showing the slightest disapproval of Tolkien, printing their addresses and urging fellow fans to take "direct action". I abandoned this as a bad idea. It was way too close to reality and I'm sure some people might have taken it a bit too literally.

Sometimes pacifists can get mad too - especially at George Bush's America
Brilliant stuff, I should have known your castoffs would outshine my sockpuppets! I'm not bad at thinking up the ideas for the blogs but I'm hopeless at parodying how other people write..
