That's nothing - I once got stuck in another D&D type game with four other students, all mathematicians. Modelling five seconds of combat took over six hours of arguing over angles and distances. Jeez.

Well, it wasn't my idea. If I was in the economists' game there would probably be an argument over the monetary system. I played the Lord of the Rings game, which had money based on four metals, but it never seemed to me that this was geared to allow the agricultural society of Middle Earth to reach the point of self-sustaining economic growth.
