Chris describes her trepidation as she approached the meeting of monomaniacs but seems relieved that we turned out to be not such a bunch of freaks after all. My son Isaac performed a useful function simply by turning up - anyone familiar with Internet Commentator would have a better chance of recognising him than me - though it didn't take long for him to get restless, he attempted to tunnel to freedom under the bench seat along the side wall. People, I can't tell you how polite these guys are in real life. Not a single sparring round to speak of. My first-aid kit was quite wasted...
